Big family trips are exactly what our large log cabin-style lodge accommodation is for getting the whole clan under one roof without scrimping on space, privacy, and modern facilities.

All our self-catering lodges and cottages have WiFi access, feature modern appliances, and are equipped with anything you may need during your stay - everything from bed linen and towels to a dishwasher and a flat-screen TV.

Here are some of our favourite lodges that suit large families:

Skomer Lodge

If there are six of you, then consider a Skomer lodge - which has a bit more space and a ‘cwtch’ area (Welsh for cuddle) for the kids to hide away in while dinner’s being cooked.

It’s fully detached with lots of space around the lodge for children to play in. Inside you’ll find a lovely modern kitchen and living space underneath a beautiful mezzanine area and balcony - including the popular kids ‘cwtch’ area with their own private TV. The three bedrooms (two twins, one double) and bathroom are up here as well.

Cadley Connect Lodge

If you’re looking for a bit more privacy, then our Cadley Connect Lodges offer just that - open the connecting door to make it one big lodge when you’re sharing the family fun, and two when the grandparents need 10 minutes of peace and quiet!

By putting two Cadley Lodges together, you effectively get double of everything - so each one has an open plan lounge, dining room, fully fitted kitchen, wet room, double and twin bedrooms.

Grassholm Lodge

If there’s a few more of you, the Grassholm lodges sleep up to eight people - so if you’ve got the grandparents on board or you’ve teamed up with another family this could be perfect.

The Grassholm lodge is detached with four bedrooms and three bathrooms, one of them en-suite.

There’s a spacious living room that includes a lovely dining area that opens up onto your patio and a large area around your lodge. This lends itself for evening drinks at sunset or an alfresco lunch before your next adventure!

St David’s Lodge

We’re not supposed to be biased but the St David’s Lodge is one of our absolute favourites.

The St David’s Lodges are a lovely size - totally detached with lots of space and four bedrooms, one double (with en-suite) and three twins.

It’s full of modern facilities and the living space opens out onto the large patio area. The St David’s Lodges also include two Premium Wi-Fi vouchers.

Tenby Connect Lodge

Put two of our famous Tenby Lodges together for the fabulous Tenby Connect, sleeping 12 people comfortably in two double and four twin rooms. Like the Cadley Connect Lodge, it has a connecting door which means you can open up the big living and dining areas to a glorious open-plan space. Perfect when you need a little bit of “me” time. The Tenby Connect Lodge has four bathrooms - two are en-suite.

Pembroke Lodge

The Pembroke Lodge is beautifully designed and decorated and is a great option if you're bringing lots of children or friends. It sleeps 12 people in six twin rooms, four of which come with an en-suite. Whether you're a big family or simply a group of great mates, the Pembroke Lodge gets everyone under one roof without sacrificing space. The big living room tends to get lively in the evenings!
